TAKING THE STRESS OUT OF RENOVATION
As a Renovare client you are guided through the renovation journey from concept to approval and then build.
We ask the right questions, give you ideas and advice, work with you on the requirements of your project and then your project supervisor will keep you informed about the progress of your renovation throughout.
At the end of your apartment renovation we perform the necessary quality control checks and your renovation is then independently certified by handovers.com.
Each apartment varies but a typical renovation can include:

How an
apartment renovation
works
Renovare works with you to help breathe new life into your apartment. We follow a simple process that guides the journey toward transforming your old apartment into a modern and stylish residence.
1. INITIAL CONVERSATION
2A. TO SAVE YOU MONEY:
SEND US YOUR MOOD BOARDS, PHOTOS, AND PLANS
You will be requested to give us measurements and photos of certain areas that you want to be included in your apartment renos. Renovare is then able to produce a Preliminary Quote with realistic figures.
PRELIMINARY QUOTE
Our Preliminary Quote is designed to provide the most accurate budget for your project as quickly as possible.
It is our many years of experience that enables us to deliver a Preliminary Quote as close to the approximate cost as we can.
PRELIMINARY AGREEMENT
Once you’re confident in the approximate cost of the renovations, and you know you can secure your funding, Renovare will give you a preliminary agreement contract that attracts a $275 fee including GST for our services. This will assist you through the formal design/quote/approval process, with the fee being deducted later from your overall contract price.
Should your job require design and/or engineering, our team is available to assist with the process. (Additional fees apply.)

2B. TO SAVE YOU TIME & EFFORT:
WE’LL CREATE YOUR CONCEPT PLANS & A DETAILED QUOTE
Our builder and designer will visit, listen to the goals you’d like to achieve, and help guide you towards the solutions that will work best for you, within your budget. We then do a full measure-up of the relevant areas and our designer creates your Concept Plans.
DETAILED QUOTE
Our extremely detailed quote is created thanks to the detail in our Concept Plans. This means you will know pretty much exactly how much your project is going to cost.
BETTER STILL – the cost of $2,200 inc. GST for our Concept Plans and Quote is refunded to you at completion of your whole renovation project should you entrust Renovare with the task.
3. BODY CORPORATE APPROVALS
Renovare will visit you on-site and prepare a Scope of Works that will include our details, insurance, licenses, and accreditations. If necessary, Renovare will submit the strata application form, including the scope of works to Body Corporate for processing and approval (works are divided into cosmetic, minor, and major works and each has its own rules about approval).
Your form is then reviewed by the Body Corporate who may require further information about your renovation. They will advise the method of approval, which may include signing an indemnity form, paying A security deposit, having a by-law drafted for your renovation (if it impacts common property), and/or passing a resolution at a General Meeting (GM).
Renovare will then arrange what is necessary to ensure you never breach your duties as an owner or occupier.
4. FINALISE YOUR COSTS & SIGN YOUR CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS
You can visit our suppliers and benefit from the discount we are getting from them or choose your own supplier. Your choices from the Shopping List come together with detailed information on selected fixtures and fittings.
This is where your understanding, and selection of fixtures and fittings are most important with your list forming part of the contract. Renovare will present you with a fully transparent final price and a construction contract to sign, with start and finish dates included.
Your project will be insured with QBCC Insurance and of course, your preliminary engagement fee will be deducted from the contract.
5. COMMENCEMENT OF THE RENOVATION
Renovare will project manage your renovation from start to finish and deliver your project on time and to the highest standard.
You will deal directly with Renovare, which means no sales reps or chasing tradies – we also coordinate everything and make it happen on your behalf.
Our tradies and contractors are also first-class professionals, offering the necessary qualifications and licenses to ensure your renovation project is completed with exceptional results and less stress.
6. Practical Completion and Handover
This is when you check your final jobs and make sure you are happy with the final product, and you can enjoy your renovated apartment.
